In May 2007, BCI opened a new office on the University of Oklahoma Research Campus in Norman, Oklahoma. “We plan to expand our core business with the Norman operation by providing needed on-site support for the phased array radar research project with NOAA’s National Severe Storms Laboratory along with our distinguished partner Lockheed Martin MS2,” said Mr. Sailesh Chowdhury, BCI Chief Executive Officer.
The office is presently supporting the NSSL scientists with research on phased array radar system use for meteorological applications and expects great strides in improving hazardous weather prediction and modeling.
